This is in response to this week’s photography challenge on Windows. This photograph was taken during last year’s Durga Puja festival in Kolkata. We were walking down a very crowded footpath, and I almost missed this shop. It was more of a “hole in the wall” tea-shop, one of many which thrive in a city of tea-addicts. What attracted me to this stall, was the bright blue colour of the wall advertisement. But, taking this shot was quite a task, considering the sea of people walking down the path. I had to take it quickly at the very moment when nobody was walking in front of the stall.
Let me know if you like it. 🙂

I do 🙂 Can I have some insomnia mix please, provided that they are selling herbal mixes of course 😀
haha…I wonder if that fellow has ever heard of the word herbal!! 😀 Interesting fact about Calcutta is that people are heavy tea drinkers, but mostly they drink tea which is honestly to me, quite horrible…just dust which they keep boiling…on the other end of the spectrum is Darjeeling tea, which is very expensive, and only the ones who can afford it, drink it…but, it’s really good! 🙂
I see :). I am sticking to my filter twinings tea bags (breakfast, prince of wales..) 🙂
LOL 😀 good idea!
